« on: September 12, 2022, 10:09:28 PM »

Join ZKC for a night under the Gateway Arch (but please don't fly under!) on the bank of the Mississippi River in beautiful St. Louis. Make sure to cater your favorite meal or stop by Imo's for a slice of pizza. St. Louis Bread Co. is also an option (also known as Panera elsewhere in the country). Top it off with a stop at Ted Drewes for a sweet treat.

We will be staffed from 2300-0300z (6-10PM CDT) for your friendly service. We hope to see you there! Be on the lookout for a pilot brief closer to the event date.

Events / [September 24th 2021 2300Z-0300Z] FNOklahoma
« on: September 03, 2021, 01:46:18 PM »

Come join ZFW and ZKC for an unique FNO experience. This is the 3rd occurrence of FNOklahoma in VATUSA history.

This FNOklahoma will not be your average FNO. We will try to staff as many towered airports in the state of Oklahoma as we can! We encourage those who want to participate to fly their favorite GA aircraft or business jet. TUL and OKC will also be staffed for your airline flying needs.

Towers will be staffed in accordance with their actual operating hours (please look them up as some will close prior to the event closing time). Flight following will be available depending on controller workload. VFR traffic pattern will likely be unavailable and OKC and TUL due to controller workload. Extensive delays are possible into OKC and TUL due to traffic load and gate constraints.

Expect more information in the coming weeks that will include scenery links and more.
