I'm telling you right now that knowing the ZNY Training Staff as I do, they will turn out nothing but robots preprogrammed so that it won't matter which ARTCC you assign them to.  In 90 days they will make application to transfer home again

I think I've heard some of your students before.  Their the ones who broadcast the AWOS, right?  If so, they are doing a fine job.......

Pretty sure they all got confused when 3 Air Force Ones (AF1, A1, and AIRFORCEONE) showed up on the scope at the same time anyway.

On two of those, the FAA guy working them thought they were females. Had to explain to him that it was actually a 13 yr old kid. If memory serves me correctly, that's when he bolted out the door.

Mike, be glad those FAA guys didn't show up. We wound up with a few of them here, but they couldn't cut it. They had problems with top down service, texters, and letting VFR aircraft depart in half mile vis with 007 OVC.

All of them bailed out of here after only two weeks.....

I echo Brighton's response. This is fantastic news despite what one may think about it initially. In the long run, this will aid in alignment with all global policies. It's about time!!

I would like to offer ZMA as another training site in the cooperative spirit of this initiative. Even though it may not be the most complex airspace, we do offer a "0 - 60" fast track training option which I think would be a good fit in this new world.

Again, looking forward to this awesome policy

Sweet deal indeed. I didn't know that your middle name was "vHuerta"

Don't worry about Fred. He's out of town at a vNatca conference feasting at their grand buffet. You should see the size of those shrimp.......

A great event for sure.  The Tracon had to close 4x due to the amount of traffic. They kept coming and coming. Throw some free prizes in the mix and the entire world shows up

Thanks to all the pilots who flew, the other participating ARTCC's, our prize sponsors, and ZMA staff and controllers for another magnificent Megaball!
