I apologize for this confusion regarding the banner appearing as a sixteen!
Please note that "Play Ball!" will take place TONIGHT, Wednesday, June 15th, 2016 at 2300 ZULU. A new banner has been uploaded to reflect this more clearly!

Events / ZMP Presents: Play Ball!

ZMP will be fully staffed for the NCAA College World Series Fly-in on Wednesday, June 15, 2016! This event features KOMA - Omaha Eppley Airfield and the rest of the R90 satellite area.
Bring plenty of peanuts and maybe a glove to watch the best of the best at TD Ameritrade Park. We'll make sure you're on-time for the game.
It's hardball and airplanes! Join us Wednesday night!

ZMP will be staffed Sunday morning, bright and early (for some), 8:00 AM CDT (1300Z) until lunch time. Who knows, maybe you can join us in the afternoon for another flight!

That's right, located a quick cab fare away is the best burger joint in the cities! Casper's and Runyon's Nook is the place to be. It's perfect for an evening in Minneapolis. The Nook will satisfy your tastebuds without upsetting your stomach for the flight back home. So, grab a friend or four and we will meet you at The Nook for a burger on the 26th!

Events / FNO: OPERATION DEEP FREEZE

Throw on your warmest socks, crank up the heat, and don't forget to pack your shovel! Come join us as we staff Minneapolis to the gills on January 22nd. From 6:30 PM CST until we can't take it anymore, enjoy full staffing and realistic winter operations at KMSP. Bring in IFR or VFR traffic - makes no difference to us! If bad weather is in the forecast, expect delays for deicing, snow removal, and missed approaches - hope you brought enough fuel!
As always in anticipation of a large event, we ask that pilots ensure that they have up-to-date scenery for KMSP, including runway 17/35. AFCADs for FS2004 and FSX is available from various flight sim add-on websites. FSX users and those wishing to add accurate KMSP terminals and ramps can download William Morgan's FRF KMSP Scenery or install BluePrint Simulations' KMSP scenery.
Clear skies, and we'll see you on the 22nd!

Grab your hunting gear!! The Minneapolis ARTCC and Winnipeg FIR cordially invite you to the greatest hunting expedition on VATSIM! In the Northwoods, there are countless wildlife and other natural beauties. Visit KMSP - Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport or KDLH - Duluth International Airport and explore the Minnesota landscape. If you remembered your passport, take the journey further north to the border. On your way into CYWG - Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport, enjoy the vast hunting lands that Canada has to offer. You might even need the seaplane or cub to get to your favorite hunting spot! In any case, the wilderness awaits.

We will staff MSP just for you to fly in, get your shopping done, and fly back out... before anyone else knows how long you waited!

Join the Minneapolis ARTCC on Sunday, July 19th, in Green Bay airspace! KATW - Appleton - Outagamie Airport, KAPN - Alpena County Regional Airport, KTVC - Traverse City - Cherry Capital Airport, KCWA - Central Wisconsin Airport, and of course, KGRB - Green Bay - Austin Straubel International Airport will be staffed from 23:00 - 04:00 ZULU.
Next week, ZMP visits Duluth airspace.

KFCM - Flying Cloud Airport, KSTP - St. Paul Downtown Holman Field, KMIC - Crystal Airport, KANE - Anoka Airport, KLVN - Airlake Airport, and of course, KMSP - Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport will be staffed from 23:00 - 04:00 ZULU.
Next week, ZMP visits Green Bay airspace.

All,
ZMP is hosting a Live FNO on Friday, July 25th and extended Saturday segment on July 26th, 2014.
Hundreds of flights will be operating in ZMP airspace throughout the event. Proper coordination between surrounding ARTCCs, virtual airlines, and the general VATSIM community is essential to the success of this FNO.
NORTHERN MIGRATION IX
--- IMPORTANT NOTICE ---
THIS FNO WILL BE MODELED AFTER REAL WORLD OPERATIONS.
All pilots are requested to utilize the booking system found at: http://www.minniecenter.org/realops/
Please register and follow instructions on activating your login. After successful activation, you may book as many flights as you wish.
There are 346 scheduled flights for this event. Flight schedules include a departure/arrival field, callsign, equipment, route, and departure/arrival time. All times are in UTC (ZULU).
There are eight (
days left until sign-ups CLOSE.

All pilots must read this document to ensure smooth operation during the event.
Please be prepared on the following items:
