The ATM:
* Reports to the Southern Region Air Traffic Director and oversees operations and management for
assigned facility.
* Maintains an online presence on the VATSIM network, maintains facility website.
* Functions as VATUSA staff member and attends meetings as necessary to discuss and stay abreast of
VATUSA issues and policies.
* Initiates and obtains ATD approval for ARTCC SOP, LOA and other appropriate documentation.
* Establishes and defines the duties of the DATM position. Submits selection to the ATD for approval.
* Establishes and defines the duties Training Administrator position. Submits selection to the ATD and
VATUSA Training Services Administrator for final approval.
* Provides guidance and help to assigned controllers; optionally may establish a staff of "Mentors" to
assist with training.
* Works with or delegates liaison with Regional and Division-level Events Coordinators on events as
necessary.
* Addresses disciplinary situations with the Southern Region ATD when appropriate.
_Core Requirements_
The successful candidate:

Simple Insanity / Funny RW ATC conversation

So, a few of us went flying while at the Boston Tea Party event.
Coming back into Nashua we decided to do a couple touch and go's. We were with KASH TWR flying N249ND (me on the radio butchering our callsign..lol)
I was going over the LiveATC archives and found this funny exchange between a pilot and the ground controller (I think someone busted the TFR over Martha's Vinyard) .

"All air traffic controllers are to have ATIS to a size never greater than four lines with a suggested
maximum of three lines. The suggested format includes the controller's voice connection details (if
using voice) in first line, then runways in use (if appropriate), followed only by some simple details of
the airport / airspace they are controlling in the lines to follow."

From the outright ridiculous as Don mentions in his post to the attempts to be humorous in others I've seen while on the network, none of this has a place in the controller ATIS, VATUSA or VATSIM. Divisional staff and network SUPs have been given notice to be on the lookout for off-handed comments and take appropriate action necessary not only to protect the integrity and inclusiveness of the network but also the division that so many of us pour our blood, sweat and tears into everyday.

In war, there are lives risked and lives taken. Men and women giving their best to defend what they love. They defend their country, their honor, their people. Our veterans have risked their lives for us, they have lived through hell and fought with honor. For those who have died, we owe great appreciation and remembrance. For those who live, along with them live the horrific memories of of battle.
Our veterans were more than soldiers, they were and will always be heroes.
