Due to the extreme weather in the Houston area had surrounding areas we, unfortunately, have to cancel this tonight. We are unsure to when we will reschedule but as soon as we get more info we will post it on here. Thank you controllers and thank you pilots for all the support you give to ZHU.

Due to the extreme weather in the Houston area had surrounding areas we, unfortunately, have to cancel this tonight. We are unsure to when we will reschedule but as soon as we get more info we will post it on here. Thank you controllers and thank you pilots for all the support you give to ZHU.




ZHU is proud to present our annual Mardi Gras celebration. Starting on February 16 from 2359z-0230z you may fly in and out of KBTR and KMSY or any other field in ZHU airspace! We are excited to bring in this huge celebration this year and can't wait to have y'all down south. So what are you waiting for? The gumbo is just waiting! See you then!

Howdy y'all! It's that time of the year again! It is time for our annual Texas Center Crossfire event! This year we will be welcoming you in on a beautiful Friday night. Join us on January 8 from 2359z-0400z (6 PM-10 PM CST) and come fly into our featured fields, KIAH, KDFW, KHOU, and KDAL. We will have all 4 fields staffed with the best of the best southern hospitality. We can't wait to see you there!

It is finally 2021 and ZHU is excited to leave 2020 in the past! Join ZHU on Saturday, January 2nd from 2359z-0400z (6 PM-10 PM CST) as we bring in the new year. Fly into the KIAH airport with any aircraft VFR or IFR and watch the beautiful fireworks as you fly through the I90 final box. We can't wait to bring in the new year with you!

Who's excited to fly into Cabo!? I know we are excited to host you! Join VATUSA (ZHU) and VATMEX on February 6 2021 from 2359z-0400z (6 PM - 10 PM CST) as we host one of the most tropical crossfires of the year! Come fly out of KIAH and fly to MMSD for our southbound crossfire!  We are excited to have you! Make sure you join us next weekend on February 13 for the fly back! We can't wait to see you!
