Route information:
If you will be flying an aircraft into/out of N90 that meets any of the following navigational/equipment criteria, please file “RQST TMU APVL” in the “Remarks” section of your flight plan and expect TMU to process your flight plan before you depart (the alternative being controllers passing along your flight plan while you sit on the ground, waiting for TMU to find it):
- AIRAC cycle prior to 1701 (January 2017)
- Non-RNAV capable (any suffix other than /C /G /I /L /S /V /Y /Z)
- Unable to find ANY of the N90 departure fixes in your FMC/FMS database (N90 Preferred Departure Gate Diagram)
- Unable to fly ANY preferred or previously filed flight plan (utilizing PRD and FlightAware IFR Route Analyzer)
- Plan on filing a known historical flight plan route which cannot be found in current flight plan databases.

What restriction are you talking about?
The bookings all had real world airline flights attached to them, I understand that's because it's real world ops. The email that came to our VA about the event however. Made it sound like you had to fly under the callsign for the flight you booked.
That's why we didnt promote the event withing our VA.
If that's not the case, need to be a little more clear with that for future events.
Well it's customary for real-ops to feature real flights. Additionally, if you had any questions regarding the application of CXA (or any other virtual airline without a real-world counterpart) to the booking slots, you were encouraged to respond to the email. Perhaps next time an initiative could be made so that we can work on accommodating flights your VA might have wanted in the schedule.

« on: June 02, 2019, 05:22:46 PM »Need to remove the airline callsign restriction for the next event. Our VA is not a backed by a real world airline, and our guys wanted to fly this. However having to fly as a different airline, in a different livery was not something they wanted to do. So we did not promote this event.
What restriction are you talking about?

« on: June 02, 2019, 11:13:11 AM »Great Event! Can we continue this format in the future? We (us joystick manipulators) could select the flight and fly the route, this would give me advance planning for departure and an actually flying a US Airline code. Great controllers yesterday
