When: On December 12, departures will start at 20:00z [10:00 HAST, 12:00 PST, 13:00 MST, 15:00 EST]

It's Christmas time - and AvA is ready! AvA will be flying in to Aspen, Colorado (KASE) from 2 separate departure points. Aspen is a relatively small airfield, you can't land anything BIGGER than a 737 in there, if not hard, impossible. So this is a perfect time for you to fly your favorite regional jet! Hold on... it's not limited there, of course! Eagle County (KEGE) will be staffed just IN case you won't make it down to Aspen, there's definitely no ILS to Aspen, so no chance for you to use any autoland feature here. It's just the VOR/DME to runway 15 approach.

All ORD, JFK, BOS and LAX crew will depart KJFK (JFK-ASE: RBV ETX J60 DBL) - ETE 3hrs 30mins
Note: Please don't forget to plan for extra fuel those who are planning to fly to Aspen, typically, when traffic level rises, you can expect a hold over Red Table (DBL). ATC should be assigning you the SID for JFK.

All DFW, SJU and TRG crew will depart KMIA. (MIA-ASE: MIA1/WINCO1.WINCO J43 SZW J41 MEM RZC J182 GLD J80 FQF) - ETE 4hrs 30mins
Note: Don't forget to bring more than your 'average' fuel - if you're lucky, you might be put on hold somewhere over ZDV. MIA1 is the preferred departure and WINCO1 for RNAV.
