I recently took my OBS exam and passed with an 88%, I am currently waiting on my transfer request to go be approved, Moving from ZME to Chicago ARTCC, I have two questions? 1. How long normally does it take to have a transfer approved or denied? 2. How long after you take your OBS exam are you allowed to take your S1? Thanks in advance for all the help?

S1 happens after training and assigned by instructors.

As far as transfers, it is when the staff gets around to doing it.  Could take anywhere from an hour to a few days depending on how busy the senior staff at ZAU is.
