New York, New York – Vanity Airways today finally opened its doors to the public and hometown of NYC area. Vanity’s first revenue flight will depart JFK for Atlanta at 6:20am Saturday morning with its modern and efficient 160 seat Boeing 737-800 series aircraft.

Aboard the newly refitted aircraft, Vanity Airways will offer wider seats, more legroom and conveniently more overhead storage space. Both First and Premium Economy will feature Vanity’s new state of the art In-flight Entertainment, “Vision”, with features ranging from movies, films and music to games and other media. In both First and Premium Economy, each seat will feature a “touch screen” on board service menu, including the IFE system. Our fleet comprises not only some of the world’s latest technology but they’re greener, they’re quieter and they’re more comfortable!

At a press conference held earlier today, Vanity’s CEO mentioned, “As we finalize all preparations for our inaugural flight to Atlanta on Friday, September 18, 2009, we must take time to recognize the outstanding efforts of our colleagues who have spent time putting together our flight systems, scheduling and media relations.”

Conveniently based at New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport, Vanity Airways is planning additional service just in time for the busy winter season to get you to that perfect getaway! Vanity Airways is considering service to Cancun, Mexico; Kingston, Jamaica; Paris, France; Manchester, UK, and adding additional service to St. Maarten.
