Title: Washington has a new DATM!
Post by: Jared West on March 26, 2022, 01:07:34 PM
Hello VATUSA!

After reviewing and interviewing a couple of very top tier candidates, I would like to announce John Bartlett as the new Deputy Air Traffic Manager for the Washington ARTCC!  He will be replacing Aaron Albertson at the end of the month.   John has held just about every role in multiple different facilities, and for the last year has been the Training Administrator here at Washington.  Well deserved congratulations, John!

Aaron served as the DATM for the last 4 years, and was responsible for growing the community, online presence, and active controller list, here at ZDC as well as becoming a great friend to many of us.  He will thankfully remain a member at ZDC and hopefully will have an improved work/life balance.  Thank you Aaron for all of your contributions, mentorship, and most importantly, your friendship during your tenure!
