A sincere thanks to each of you for your time and dedication to this division. I can testify directly to the excellent work and guidance provided by these individuals when I was Director, and can only wish the best upon them in their future endeavors. Despite disagreements and sometimes heated argument, you all kept the best interest of VATUSA at heart.

Enjoy retirement!

Best wishes to Mike and Rob, both great guys on and off the scopes. (Did no know Andrew on a personal level but I'm sure he was just a good as the others.) Now you guys can take the time to enjoy your pension.

As in the past resignations, great work, great input and thank you for all you did for our "hobby"....We seem to be loosing good people and from reading the posts in this and other forums, it is happening all over.

Might be time for those up above to look over the people that have recently left and look at the reasons why and decide where this VATSIM hobby is going to go.  There are a lot of great people here and they all contribute to the "hobby".  

Well, time to go back to the "real world", where the sky is always blue, the wind is calm and life goes on!

As a matter of fact, why did someone post this in here? It's not where it belongs yet. Note WHY it was in a certain forum to begin with...

Ryan, if it wasn't public information, I'm sure it wouldn't have been posted even in the staff forums. All I1's and I3's got a NOTAM from Michael and one could infer both VATUSA1 and VATUSA9 aren't in their positions anymore as they appear as different colors in the forum. Also take a look at the VATUSA Member/Staff pages. No need to wait for a news announcement.

As he had said, this is news to us. What other forum posts are you referring to? I see nothing anywhere (not that I really care completely about VATUSA politics). But just to say 'read other forum posts' is as informative as asking a two-month premature baby to recite the Oxford Dictionary.

I have to agree with the work Andrew, Mike and Rob have done. I enjoyed the leadership that these three brought to Vatusa. I too, wish them the very best. They and their talent will be missed.

So it's been 2 days since this happened. Is VATNA1 (or whoever is responsible) going to post the position openings and try to move forward?

Thanks for the vote of confidence Nicholas.  Since you asked, I've been talking with the current VATUSA staff members with the goal of putting plans in place to ensure that we have a stable VATUSA until new staff members can be appointed.  It is after that, that we will worry about filling the vacancies.  We are not about to start accepting applications until we can get everything running smoothly in the interim.
