Greetings & thanks........


When I log in to vatusa it says Obs shouldn't it say Pilot too?

Also it say that I am unassigned.....  Where do I go to enlist in a region/division?

Vatsim says I'm enrolled in a division & region, so I'm confused about what Unassigned

and Obs mean?

Hi Chris, The OBS is the classification or rating VATSIM assigns for someone who has not gained an ATC rating (S1, S2, S3, C1, etc.).
If your intention is to just be a pilot and fly around the region/division, there is nothing for you to concern yourself with. If you would like to enter training as an Air Traffic Controller then further steps will need to happen.
