Title: Vatusa CID verification
Post by: Andrew Koudijs on April 05, 2013, 01:55:34 PM: Hey Guys, I am looking to start my controller career. I went to do the CID Verification on the vatusa web sight (step one after you click become an ATC) and it says "CID/Password combination incorrect, please try again." every time, and i know i am not messing up the ID and password. Any ideas?

that one works fine, its this one that is giving me the error: http://www.vatusa.net/join1.php (http://www.vatusa.net/join1.php)

What tom is saying is use the www.cert.vatsim.net to find your CID, and Password completely. (and to ensure it is correct)

Post by: Bob Carmona on April 05, 2013, 04:06:43 PM: Andrew, the VATUSA Basic ATC exam has been assigned to you. Once you have passed that, you will be able to join an ARTCC.

Post by: Anirudh Chandrashekar on April 06, 2013, 12:49:02 AM: I am also facing the same issue. My ID is 1255228. I sent the request for the approval to join the US Sector 2 days ago and now I verified that I am in the US Sector though I didn't receive any mails from VATSIM. Please help me!

If you are interested in becoming an air traffic controller, may I suggest you go to the VATUSA home page (www.vatusa.net), and click on the link to the right, under "Most Popular" that says, "Become a VATUSA ATC!"
