My PC has one monitor and budgetary concerns preclude any additional screens in the near future. I have an older laptop though and was wondering if one could log on to the same position and VRC on two different computers? If so I could run the main screen on the PC and the additional needed windows on the laptop. Otherwise I am relegated to vastly improving my real estate management skills.
Thanks,
Kyle

Unfortunately Kyle I would say no...due to Vatsim Code of Conduct regulations which prohibit more than a single connection (exception for an ATIS). For more information you can find the regs at http://www.vatsim.net/network/docs/coc/ (http://www.vatsim.net/network/docs/coc/) and the relevant portion is A8.b
Also, the login structure of VATSIM won't support multiple logins of the same name, so there can only ever be a single instance of a particular callsign on the network.

If you were using Euroscope, however, the answer would change since Euroscope has a proxy that can allow multiple instances to share a single VATSIM connection.
With VRC, this isn't possible.

Not sure if you have craiglist.org near you or not, but if you do, suggest you search there for an inexpensive or free monitor. Looking briefly on CL near me, there are lots of folks with free 15-19" CRT monitors out there, there are 5 15" LCD monitors in and around my town for under $20, and one 17" LCD monitor that can be had for $20. You could also look on freecycle to see if there's anything out there for you as well.
I almost hesitate to mention it, but I suppose if your facility doesn't train with ES, you could try ASRC....

Or something like this: http://www.zoneos.com/zonescreen.htm (http://www.zoneos.com/zonescreen.htm)

Thank you all. I have some good suggestions to chase now. As an afterthought and Zoneos aside, is anyone aware of a WideFS type of environment that might work?
Added in Edit: I don't think Euroscope is an option considering I am in ZFW's ARTCC. Good thought though.

This may or may not help
