Well, most forums have a dedicated "new member" area, I couldn't find one here, so I hope I guessed right! So I guess I better introduce myself now:

• My name is Jacob.
• I live near Memphis.
• I'm a student study aerospace engineering, but I'm not a pilot (yet).
• I'm going to attempt to become a controller, if I make it, I'll try for vZME

Any advice for a newbie?

Nice to meet you Jacob.. I'm Jacob  ;) I wish you a good time at ZME and good luck on Aerospace Engineering. I am 2 Semesters away from graduating with my B.S. in Civil Engineering so I know your pain (Thermodynamics  :o ) If you have any questions on what to do or where to go to start your ATC journey always feel free to ask, myself as well as all other staff members here at VATUSA welcome you to the show.  8)
