vZDC is seeking an applicant for the position of Facilities Engineer
Position Description
- Report to ZDC Air Traffic Manager
- Develops, maintains and manages the ARTCCs facilities infrastructure, including sector files, alias files, position files, VRC/vSTARS/vERAM files, vATIS, TowerTrainer, and Audio for VATSIM database etc.
- Maintain a high online presence
- Other duties as assigned
- Functions as an Administrator and attends quarterly meetings
Requirements
- S3 rating or higher
- Must be an active member on the network in good standing with a clean history
- Capable of working well in team-oriented environment
- Familiar with sector file design methodologies and utilities
- Familiar with tools such as VRC, vSTARS, vERAM, alias files, etc.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Demonstrated experience developing and/or maintaining facilities/sector files
- Familiar with TowerTrainer
