Title: New Southern Region Air Traffic Director VATUSA 8

Please welcome and join me in congratulating Wes Miles as the new Southern Region Air Traffic Director (VATUSA 8).  Wes has been serving as the Air Traffic Manager at Kansas City for several years.  In addition Wes previously served as an Air Traffic Controller in the United States Air Force and currently as a terminal air traffic controller in New York state.

Thank you all!  It's a bittersweet move... 7 years is a long time to be ATM, and I'll miss it.  But I'm greatful for the opportunity to get to know so many people in that role, and proud of what we've accomplished.  I had a great team at ZKC and I'm confident they'll pick up the ball and run!

I'm excited to support the Southern Region in this new role, and look forward to working with my new team!
