Title: New Data Services Manager for VATUSA
Post by: Mark Hubbert on July 10, 2018, 08:42:04 PM: I am pleased to announce that Blake Nahin has been selected as the new Data Services Manager for VATUSA. Blake is very knowledgeable with various data systems and functions and will be a great addition to the team. I also want to thank Daniel Hawton for all of the time and passion that he put into the position. Wishing Daniel the very best in retirement and welcoming Blake to the Team.

Currently Daniel and Blake are meeting to transition so I appreciate everybody's patience if any data service issues come about.

Daniel, there aren't the words to describe the amount and quality of the work you have turned in for us. Of course having to deal with those of us who don't understand the usage of anything beyond the coffee cup holder didn't help, so you have had your work cut out for you!

But you managed, and did better than anyone could have imagined. Now you leave us in new, good hands. I know that all of the members of the Division are thankful for your time energy and efforts, especially the VATUSA crew here in the big building.

So good luck, and don't be a stranger.

Daniel, you already know how I feel, but VATUSA would not be where it is today without the tremendous dedication, skill, and passion you brought to the role. You advanced this Division lightyears. I cannot thank you enough, from the bottom of my heart.

Daniel, I have a few choice words I'd like to randomly throw out there, but I'll keep it professional: Congrats on a job well done! The amount of time and energy you put into this division will continue to be evident long after you've retired. Thanks for putting up with all my questions and offering assistance when I was about ready to throw my computer out the window.
