VATUSA is proud to announce the first Master Class. What is a Master Class you may ask?
A Master Class is a webinar presented by experienced VATUSA controllers who have not only been through all of the same things, but then took their skillset to the real world aviation community either as an Air Traffic Controller and/or a professional pilot!
This Master Class focuses on:
- Sequencing and spacing in the radar environment
- Tips and tricks for situations related to ensuring positive separation
- And more as time gets closer!
This event is TENTATIVELY scheduled for 8 December 2018 at 1500E (2000Z), with an estimated 30-45 minute lecture followed by a 30-45 minute question and answer time.
Your presenters will be:
Dhruv Kalra, vZMP ATM, and a real life controller at Minneapolis ARTCC, and former pilot for Bemidji Airlines and Wheels Up Aviation.
Ryan Geckler, former VATUSA3, and a real world controller at Miami ARTCC.
This course will be taught via Zoom, an online collaborative web conferencing software which may be accessed via your computer or smart phone. Zoom features computer audio and phone dial in capabilities. For more information on zoom please visit https://www.zoom.us
