General Discussion / DRAFT VATUSA logos
« on: January 26, 2015, 03:41:26 PM »

I honestly didn't know what I was starting when I threw that poll up there....  All I knew was that I had 2 new guys playing with putting together a new website, both shot me a different placeholder logo, and even though I know the last time submissions were requested we had no interest, I figured I'd at least see if there was interest in something new out there.  Boy, is there!

That said, no, this isn't a final vote by any means, but a great avenue to get the creative juices going and get some good options in case we want to make an update.  Keep at it!

Means VATUSA is becoming stronger and not weaker like has been the trend with participation over the last several years. Good to see maybe the rescission as i call it is ending slowly.

NOTAMs / Requesting assistance from Supervisors
« on: December 08, 2014, 09:38:00 PM »
I'm sure this is something so simple that no one is going to have a problem putting this in there training. When i train i always make sure my student knows the .wallop command because i know i didn't when i first start and let me tell you it got interesting on some occasions.

However, Jesse has brought up a good point and being a former sup as well i cant say i ever understood why, Can you please post in that forum and make sure that the supervisor themselves are reading the info coming in. I think many sups use an allis file as well for there initial contact which asks you to explain everything again.  I think instead of saying who you are and your role a  simple Hi. I'm working your issue, is sufficient for most on the network when we call them. At that point I'm expecting someone to show up of authority.

General Discussion / GREAT JOB ZOB!

I gotta say, this event is one of the best this year!!! Great Job ZOB, Great job to CLE_77_CTR, you did a good job handling that traffic! I have some pic's a took with my new PC, on my final Approach into DTW!!

Thanks Joey... I must personally say for this event skipping a year and this really being the "return" it was a great event. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and it brought out the true highlights of what VATSIM really is.  We have a bit of talking to do, see where the mistakes occurred to make this event better but i already do plan for the return of it next year around this time.

Again Thanks Joey and i will pass your message on to the rest of the group.
