Thanks Chicago Center for the event! Best GA event I've participated in for quite some time with all the towered airfields in close proximity (and uncontrolled too, voice Unicom is fantastic!). Hope you are able to do this again soon!

I want to say thanks to the folks who put this event on. I was excited for this event after attending AirVenture IRL last year. About an hour before the start time my internet connection failed but came up again about 20 minutes before the ending of the event. I appreciate the controllers staying a few minutes extra as I arrived @ Fisk about 10 minutes after the scheduled close time. Even though I was the only one coming up the tracks, it was a treat to "Rock the Wings".
P.S. I'm a fan of the Class D events for Wisconsin you've been doing within Chicago Center. I like the opportunity to fly GA to the locations less traveled on the network.

+1 For a great event! I find myself flying VFR 95% of the time I'm on the network so to have a larger event focused on the GA side is a big plus in my book.
I agree that there seemed to be some missing knowledge by some pilots in the VFR skills based on some of the chatter I was hearing on the Center frequency. Hopefully by getting more pilots involved with VFR procedures there will be good learning that can take place.
Anyhow, thanks again for the event and I look forward to participating in more of them in the future!
