The Control Room Floor / Busiest En-Route Facility
« on: May 15, 2011, 10:56:45 AM »
The biggest problem I have with that list is that Charlotte Tower was listed as the 8th busiest and yet it is still not a major facility.  The only upside to that is that you don't need major certification to control there.

Is the site for vZTL down?  I have tried several times in the past week to no avail.  I also can't access the teamspeak server, which uses the same domain.

Virtual Airlines / MedStar Aviation Hiring EMS Pilots

About MedStar Aviation:
MedStar Aviation is a new VA, started in late December 2010, based at Ellington Field, KEFD.  We transport Organs, Patients, and a special, charitable, patient transport program, the Angel Flight program, which provides transport for patients in rural areas to hospitals at little or no cost to the patient and/or family.  We operate both fixed and rotary wing aircraft, with no training (Unless requested or you want to join the SAR wing, which is currently under development).  For those who simply want to operate rotary wing aircraft without SAR, a quick proficiency checkride is all you need (So you don't totally ruin the reputation of MedStar and crash the aircraft half the time you fly).  We operate mainly in Texas and Mexico, though flights can be made wherever you want.  We fly mostly non-scheduled, on-demand flights, though we do have scheduled flights available.

The Control Room Floor / Facility Engineer?
« on: February 25, 2011, 07:38:36 PM »
I was checking over the staff page of vZTL, and noticed a vacant slot in the page, with the title of Facility Engineer.  My question is, what the heck is an FE?

They down again?

I think so, just found out.

Safari can’t connect to the server.
Safari can’t open the page “http://forums.vatsim.net/” because Safari can’t connect to the server “forums.vatsim.net”.

And remember, I will add any PD that has an aviation unit, so if the city you want to operate out of isn't listed here, it can be.

We have a website, hiring all positions including:

Chief of Each City (But Charlotte, that is one of my jobs)
Webmaster (The website is terrible, I know)
Scenery Developer
Researcher (Researching new cities to operate out of)
Not sure of the title, helps with the "Language Barrier" between FS and X-Plane
Recruiter (Handles applications, another thing I am currently doing)

All of the positions above will be active pilots as well, unless an LOA is granted.
Here is the site.  Click on this to see the site.
