Atlanta is looking for a motivated individual that possess a high degree of energy and commitment to serve as the Webmaster
Job Responsibilities:
Manages and oversees the ARTCCs data services including web content and delivery, web services, email systems, data storage systems, etc.
Must respond quickly to website and data system needs.
Develops and implements policies and procedures for operation and maintenance of the ARTCC web and data systems.
Supports and participates in initiatives that give back to the VATSIM community.
Supports the recruitment, retention, and development of a diverse range of talented people.
Holds self and others accountable to high-performance standards while providing pilots with memorable experiences.
Ability to listen to feedback and take constructive action.
Maintains an online presence on the VATSIM server and ZTL TeamSpeak.
Attends periodic meetings to report on ARTCC activities.
All other responsibilities which help to accomplish the mission, goals, and vision of ZTL.
Application Requirements:
Must be proficient in modern web programming languages and techniques (including but not limited to HTML, PHP/MySQL, CSS, Laravel)
Must be an active member of the network in good standing.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Must be available for regular correspondence (via the primary means of e-mail), as well as routinely checking VATUSA forums and other outlets for official notices.
Preferred Skills
Demonstrated custom web programming with PHP/MySQL in a production environment
Familiarity with APIs for other applications (Google, Twitter, Facebook, etc.)
