Events / Cross The Border

To celebrate the upcoming border opening, Minneapolis ARTCC and the Winnipeg FIR presents "Cross The Border". A crossfire featuring Winnipeg's CYWG and Minneapolis' KMSP. Come fly the short hop on Sunday, 8 August, 2021 and experience full ATC coverage! All pilots new or old are welcomed.

When: 2021-08-08, 2100z to 0100z

ZMP presents Tracon Tuesdays! Join us as we kick off our summer series where we feature our smaller facilities. This week featuring Appleton tower and Green Bay Tower/Tracon. IFR/VFR, Biz Jets, Turboprops, or basic bug smashers are all welcome. The Green Bay airspace has plenty of uncontrolled airports to visit, and Oshkosh, Chicago, and Minneapolis are just a short hop away. 1800-2100CDT [2300-0200z]

Events / What airports would you like to see?

Alrighty! In the past at ZAB we have created our events off what we thought you the pilot would like. However as I move forward with creating events for this year I would like to know what airports would interest you? Obviously Phoenix is a big attraction and gets the lime light in our events quite often but I would like to know what you all want to see. I have included some of our under appreciated airports in the poll. Please feel free to through out an airport that was not named in the poll. The airport that receives the most "votes" shall receive an event in April!
