Wichita, a town that started as a trading post for cowboys driving cattle to the railways, and grew into a major city producing some of the best aircraft in the world. The Kansas City ARTCC welcomes you to explore the airspace of Wichita while our controllers provide top notch services! The famous Keeper Of The Plains will watch over you regardless of if you’re flying an airliner, bizjet, propeller, or military aircraft, and maybe if you’re lucky, you can catch the ring of fire.

Join the ZKC facility as we explore lesser-known facilities each month. This month's destination is Mizzou Approach! This facility serves the Columbia Regional Airport (KCOU) and Jefferson City Memorial Airport (KJEF). With scheduled air carrier traffic at COU and abundant GA traffic at JEF, you'll find a flight that suits your taste with full service provided by the professional ZKC controllers. Come visit the University of Missouri or the capitol city of Jefferson City for a refreshing change of pace!

The event will be from 2300z to 0300z and will feature KCOU and KJEF with full staffing for your flying convenience!
