Events / [OCT 9 2359-0400Z] ZLA Presents: Las Vegas FNO

Join us on October 9th from 2359-0400Z as we staff up Las Vegas McCarran (KLAS), North Las Vegas (KVGT), and Henderson (KHND) airports! The airspace around KLAS is very tight so you'll likely see many other planes during this event!

Events / ZLA and ZOA host CalScream XV!

This May 17th from 23:45 - 04:00z, the Los Angeles and Oakland ARTCCs will be hosting the 15th California Screamin'! Since its inception in 2001, CalScream is considered to be one of VATSIM's oldest and largest events.

Which airports will be staffed?

ZLA will staff KLAX, KLAS, KSAN, KSNA, KONT, KBUR and more
ZOA will staff KSFO, KOAK, KSJC, KSMF, KMRY, KRNO and more

This event promises a good turnout from both pilots and controllers. Pilots are encouraged to sign up and read more details at the CalScream website: http://calscream.com/

He drove socal approach to rage-quit by being on text, if he was on voice I think that I'd have been closing up shop on LAX_TWR pretty quickly too.
