Hello everyone! My name is Jacob Perez, I am the Events Coordinator for ZJX. As some of you might be aware we are hosting our first ever bid as an arrival field for CTP. We are a smaller ARTCC and we need help from everybody. With some encouragement from VATUSA 1 I wanted to extend an invitation to everyone in VATUSA to come have an opportunity to control what is the biggest VATSIM event of the year! We are in need of all positions from CTR to DEL and everything in-between! We could even use some people on standby. If you would like to help not only us but VATUSA as a whole please email Events@ZJXARTCC.org

ZJX and Cielosim Present: KJAX Madness!
Our first event of the year is.. wait for it.. a GIVEAWAY!! We here at ZJX have contacted Cieliosim and have acquired 3 that's right.. count them 3 licenses for the new KJAX scenery they just released for FSX/P3D. Points will be awarded for completing flights into KJAX. A maximum of 2 points may be accumulated. The event will run from 18:00EST - 22:00EST or 22:00Z - 02:00Z (Yes I adjusted for DLS on the 12th
)

ZJX now retired EC is celebrating his birthday with an FNO down in good ole KMCO. We want this to be the party of the century so won't you join us on Friday, May 19th from 2230z - 0400z (1830Est - 0000Est) for what will be the best party ever. Be there or be square . KMCO will be fully staffed with the best controllers in the south, and you will have the opportunity to see the best beaches around and a chance to get sunburnt on final approach!

Not hard at all, all you have to do is call them or email them and they will be happy to give you the TRACON map? I assume you mean video map? They may, however ask you to submit an FOI (Freedom of Information) request. Which legally binds them to produce the map for you since the FAA is a government organization.

For most of us here in ZJX AUG26 is the last day for summer vacation and the last weekend before school starts again. While some of our college age staff *cough cough* will have already have started school they (we) promise to still be there to staff KMCO from 2000est-2400est to the max!
