General Discussion / Re: Which UNICOM Frequency to Use
« on: May 31, 2021, 02:59:37 PM »
There are a few exceptions to 122.8 being used as the sole UNICOM frequency, one is in Brazil, where a different UNICOM frequency is used for certain reasons.
May not be current info:
https://forums.vatsim.net/topic/27260-brazil-unicom/

That's old. Brazil has shifted over to 122.8.

I'm guessing you're guessing right....  I'll admit though, I'll miss the current logo ;)  (old sentimental fart speaking ;) )

The "old" logo isn't really that old.

It really isn't.. it was finalized about 5 years ago. :(

General Discussion / Re: Keep Port Open
« on: May 28, 2018, 02:12:05 PM »
I don't suppose there's a way to open the port on my router to both machines?  I'm certainly not a tech guru so maybe there is.  Otherwise, I'm going to try Andrew's suggestion and will report back in a few weeks, I guess.

No.. because when "stuff" comes into that port that isn't part of an already established connection, the router won't know which computer to push it to.  So when the connection gets dropped, there isn't an established.. so it defaults to the forwarded port setting.  If you were able to have more than 1, well, it won't know where to send it.
