Hi Bill,

Thanks for the report. This is a known issue that our tech team is tracking. Unfortunately, it is near the bottom of our tech priorities at the moment, so please be patient for a fix to be deployed.

News / ZDC Has a New ATM!
« on: November 27, 2024, 05:46:17 PM »
It is my pleasure to announce the next ZDC ATM, Justin McElvaney! Justin has served on the network as a long-time training staff member, ZHU TA, ZHU ATM, and most recently the ZDC TA. In addition to his staff roles on the network, Justin has plenty of real-world aviation experience as both an air traffic controller and airline captain at multiple facilities and airlines. Justin is eager to work alongside his excellent staff team to further enhance the strengths ZDC currently has, and continue developing new resources for pilots and controllers to use while enjoying all that the Washington ARTCC has to offer. Congratulations Justin! We are all excited to see what you and your staff accomplish.

A huge thank you goes out to the outgoing ZDC ATM, John Bartlett. John is no stranger to staff roles as he has helped lead multiple ARTCCs all across VATUSA over the years. John is stepping back from the role to focus on his other life commitments, but will not be a stranger around ZDC. If you see John around, make sure to tell him thanks for his years of dedication and enthusiasm for our organization.

Owen looks to continue the quest to enhance the strong ZJX community in his new role as ZJX ATM, and we are excited to watch Owen and the ARTCC grow under his leadership. Congratulations Owen!

I'd also like to thank Matt Bromback for his time as the ZJX ATM. While Matt is stepping down from the ATM role, we know his commitment to making the network a better place will remain, and we wish him well in all his future endeavors.

News / ZOA Has a New ATM!
« on: October 22, 2024, 09:10:42 AM »
Please join me in congratulating Matthew Tedesco as the new ATM for the Oakland ARTCC! Matthew most recently served as the ZOA DATM, and is excited to take on his new role in an ARTCC that means a lot to him. With plenty of real-world experience to back up his passion for this hobby, we are confident that the Oakland ARTCC will thrive under Matthew's leadership. Matthew has a great vision for what ZOA can be and looks to elevate the opportunities for pilots and controllers by further utilizing the oceanic airspace and connections with neighboring ARTCCs. Congratulations Matthew on your new role!

I'd also like to thank Andrew Selder for his time in ZOA administration! Andrew recently joined the VATUSA Staff Training Department to help further develop our training materials at the division level, and we are so glad to have him! Your work at ZOA was very impactful and I know the members appreciate it. Thanks Andrew!

News / ZAB Has a New ATM!
« on: October 20, 2024, 08:41:13 AM »
I'm pleased to announce the next ATM for the Albuquerque ARTCC, Brian Neuman. Brian is no stranger to ZAB, as he has served as an instructor for many years, eventually taking on the ZAB TA role. He most recently served as the ZAB DATM, and has done an excellent job as a senior staff member in Albuquerque. Brian has some excellent ideas to build off of the strong foundation that ZAB already has to further improve the staff experience in ZAB, as well as controller retention and activity. We look forward to seeing ZAB thrive under Brian's leadership, and wish him all the best in his new role. Congrats Brian!

I'd also like to thank Jeremy Werderman for his service in ZAB. Jeremy had to step down from the ATM role due to other commitments, and we wish him well in all of his endeavors.
