Every final exam for a rating contains two ungraded questions that are sourced from an experimental category bank. Similar to FAA pilot knowledge tests, experimental questions allow VATUSA staff to try out new question types and content without affecting the final grade. Once a question has been determined to be fair and effective, it will be moved into a graded category and replaced with another experimental question.

We'll be actively monitoring all 8 runways on April 10th, 2021, at 2300Z. Perhaps even issuing control instructions. Who knows?

It's St. Patrick's Day across the world and ZTL likes to celebrate in a unique way. In addition to putting on our green undergarments, green sweatshirts, and green baseball caps, we open up the two "green" fields in our ARTCC, GREENsboro (KGSO), and GREENville (KGSP). This year they'll be open 2201-0100z (6pm-9pm ET) on March 17, 2021. Please remember, as always, it's 8 hours bottle to throttle. We hope to see you there.
