« on: April 03, 2020, 12:36:39 PM »

Aloha VATSIM Community!

I and Aidan Deschene, CID 1459055, would like to present RealOPS by Kermout Systems!

What is RealOPS by Kermout Systems?
RealOPS by Kermout Systems is an awesome new, free, event management system that can be used by facility staff to manage their RealOPS events with ease. If a facility decides to use this system for their event, they will be greeted by awesome tools and an integrated booking system that allows pilots to book available flights during an upcoming event.

Features List:
  • Facility Management! - To register your facility, your ATM or DATM must apply to use our system. After accepting, additional facility staff may be added to manage your events!
  • Event Management! - Facility Staff can create events, import or manually add flights from certain departure/arrival fields, and use other awesome functions to manage their events with ease!
  • Pilot Booking System! - Pilots can use our awesome booking system to schedule flights for upcoming events. Be aware! You can only have one flight per event, so choose wisely!
  • Much more to come! - This is an early started project that has features being added constantly. We plan to add many additional tools to make it easier for facility staff to manage their events!

So, what are you waiting for? Checkout RealOPS by Kermout Systems at https://realops.kermout.us/ and sign your facility up to start creating awesome RealOPS events with us! Do note, if you are interested in having your facility use our RealOPS system, please have your ATM or DATM signup.

Pilots! If you are interested in trying this system out and flying during a RealOPS event, check out our first RealOPS event at the Pacific Control Facility during the Maui Overload FNO (May 8th, 2020) at https://realops.kermout.us/events/?id=4!

If you have any questions or comments about this new system, feel free to reply to this post or send an email to [email protected]!

Mahalo!

Come Fly With Me / [April 4th, 2020] Cross the Other Pond to Hawaii!
« on: April 01, 2020, 08:28:52 PM »
Join the Honolulu Control Facility on April 4th, 2020 as we staff up Kona International Airport (PHKO) for the Cross the Other Pond to Hawaii Event hosted by JoinAVA found at http://joinava.org/.

The estimated arrival time into PHKO will be 22:00 zulu where HCF will be staffing up at 21:00z - 21:30z for 2 - 3 hours.

At the same time, there will be a S2 OTS on PHKO tower so we welcome all pilots to fly in, fly out, or have some fun flying VFR around Hawaii.

Hope to see you there!
Thanks!

Events / HCF Presents: VFR Hawaii [18:00z-22:00z]
« on: February 11, 2020, 11:22:57 AM »

Join the Honolulu Control Facility as we celebrate the warm 80s on a sunny fun day perfect for visual flight rules!

HCF will be staffing up multiple Center and TRACON positions allowing pilots to fly all over the Hawaiian Islands and relax on a sunny and warm Saturday with HCF Controllers.

From VFR on TOP to transitions to pattern work, we welcome pilots to try all and really make those patterns large and have some fun!

Event Airfields:
- Daniel K Inouye/Honolulu International Airport (PHNL)
- Kahului/Maui Airport (PHOG)
- Hilo International Airport (PHTO)
- Lihue Airport (PHLI)
- Ellison Onizuka Kona International at Keahole (PHKO)

A large thank you to ORBX Simulations for sponsoring VFR Hawaii! All pilots will have a chance to win Cityscape Honolulu Scenery! To enter, you must depart from a Event Field, make a full stop landing at a different Event Airfield and provide the Tower Controller with your CID to be entered up to a maximum of 5 times (5 Airports) for a chance to win the scenery. Only one (1) lucky pilot will be drawn randomly so make sure you stop at all event fields and advise the tower controller of your CID to have the greatest chance at winning!

Good luck pilots!
