As we prepare for this major sporting event that has been in place since 1930, join us in continuing the legacy by connecting the two major airport hubs of Bogota (SKBO) to Atlanta (KATL). Bring your narrow bodies, wide bodies, and private jets as we transport passengers from South to North America. Enjoy continuous staffing with your Journey to the World Cup by departing SKBO from 1900z to 2200z and planning an arrival time in KATL from 2300z to 0300z. Please note that we can only guarantee staffing if you fly from SKBO to KATL, not the other way around!

The World Cup has landed at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, which means that the New York ARTCC is hosting a soccer-themed aviation event that welcomes flights from all across the globe. It's time for the real match to begin by beating the rush hour at Newark International and Teterboro Airport. Join us in bringing supporters, athletes, and celebrities to the world's largest event, whether you decide to fly into New York airspace or fly out. Make sure to plan extra fuel and snacks for delays, high-density traffic, and expect full radar coverage across the region. Don't miss your chance to be in this once-in-4-year event!

I would love to see VATSIM USA copy what VATSIM Europe does and assign gates to arriving aircraft. Sadly, a lot of folks in the US don't know which gates there real world airline uses at airports. Thus, it becomes kind of a mess. In Europe, ATC will assign your gate when you land. I think this could be super helpful and help with the immersion that VATSIM brings us all!
