Come join the ZLC crew as we feature the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport. With terrain to the south and east, Bozeman provides a challenging approach for VFR and IFR arrivals (Start practicing your DME arcs!) We will be have Boise running as well, so feel free to enjoy the services along the way. With close to 9000 feet of runway, the mighty Cessna to the biggest Boeing are always welcome. Scenery is available through ORBX, but is never required. The event will kick off August 16th around 2359Z and will last four hours. We hope to see y'all there!

I want to thank everybody and all controllers who helped contribute to this successful event! We had 208 aircraft seen in both S56 and ZLC. Special thanks to Denver, Oakland, LA, and our friends in Canada for helping offer support. To the 200 plus pilots who decided to visit, we thank you. Feel free to check this if you're interested.

Thank you,

All the best,

Nathan Bauer

Come join the Salt Lake Center crew Wednesday July 12th, as we host another event at our home airport, Salt Lake City International! Located alongside the Wasatch mountain range, Salt Lake City is home of Delta Air Lines and offers fantastic views throughout the region. IFR and VFR welcomed as always. Scenery is available from Pacific Island Sim, but as always it's never required. The event will kick off at 2359Z and last for 4 hours. Come join the fun, we hope to see you there!

Come join Salt Lake ARTCC Thursday the 13th as staff Boise Air Terminal! The Boise airport has more commercial passenger operations than all other Idaho airports combined! With multiple air carriers, ample GA operations, and a military operation on site, the Boise airport has something for everybody! Rapidly rising terrain to the north makes this airport a challenge for both VFR and IFR traffic. The Boise are terminal will be fully staffed including Big Sky approach and Salt Lake Center from 2359Z-0400Z.
