This is a terrific initiative and a great way to create dependable coverage on a weekly basis. Particularly for training controllers, it provides a regular opportunity to staff up positions and gain valuable experience.
FYI, to any keen eyes and unsuspecting pilots, there’s a bit of tongue and cheek humor in our event posts. Consider it part of the tradition of event positing! Beginning a flight and hitting the pillow during cruise is of course a no-no and may result in a suspension. Obviously, the CoC is still enforced. I say this just in case anyone read the synopsis literally, and to help newer members unfamiliar with proper procedures.
