VATUSA is proud to present its members with a masterclass on
Ramp Control. These classes are presented by experienced members of the division to better our controllers’ knowledge, skills, and technique.
Led by two real-world former ramp controllers turned FAA controllers, this class will include an in-depth discussion on how Ramp Control and Ground Control can work together to support the efficient movement of the airport surfaces. Topics include ramp flow procedures, standard pushback instructions, utilizing the non-movement area to transition to other portions of the movement area, protecting taxiways for both sides of the line, and many more techniques for running an efficient airport!
