Saw this the other day on the twitter.

I expect some regulations coming in the future. Apparently it's not the first time either. It has happen in the past, just not as severe.

Saw this on AvHerald a few days ago. We've seen this before with the 757, and wake turbulence has been a contributing factor in other large accidents, such as the AAL A300 in Queens in 2001 (I forget the number) that was caught in the wake of a JAL 747. This should be really concerning to any pilot of a medium or large category aircraft, I'm curious to see if additional requirements are put in place with regards to the A380. Definitely a good example of why wake turbulence separation is so important, in more than the local (final approach and departure) environment!

EASA already requires 2000 feet sep below an A380. It's only a matter of time until the FAA implements something similar in the US.
