FNO: Friday in Cowtown
« on: January 23, 2018, 05:17:04 PM »

On February 23rd at 23:59z (16:59 local), join the Edmonton FIR for Friday in Cowtown! Fly into or out of Calgary International Airport (CYYC) and celebrate the western culture that has earned the city the nickname of Cowtown!

*Important Info*
Calgary International Airport finished construction of a new, 14,000 ft runway in 2014, the longest runway in Canada. Default FSX and P3D do not include this new runway. We HIGHLY recommend you either install scenery (http://secure.simmarket.com/fsimstudios-calgary-international-airport-cyyc-fsx-p3d.phtml) or simply update the AFCAD files (https://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/11313/afcad-file-for-cyyc/).

For flight planning purposes, are ZSE, ZLC and ZMP going to be supporting the FNO?  Wanted to figure out where I wanted to fly to/from.  Thanks.

@Don,

I did not post a support event but I will make it happen. We will at least have center on for a portion of the FNO.
