Key Responsibilities- Reports to the Air Traffic Manager
- Develops, maintains, and manages the ARTCCs facilities infrastructure, including sector files, alias files, position files, VRC/vSTARS/vERAM files, vATIS, TowerTrainer and Euroscope facilities files, Audio for VATSIM database etc.
- Responds quickly to facilities issues and needs
- Maintain a high online presence
- Other duties as assigned
- Functions as a Staff member and attends quarterly meetings
Requirements- S3 rating or higher
- Must be an active member on the network in good standing with a clean history
- Capable of working well in team-oriented environment
- Familiar with sector file design methodologies and utilities
- Familiar with tools such as VRC, vSTARS, vERAM, alias files, etc.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred (but not required) Skills- C1 rating or higher
- Leadership, managerial, or supervisory experience
- Familiar with TowerTrainer and/or Euroscope
- Familiar with Oakland ARTCC on Vatsim airspace and procedures
- Familiar with Python or Java or .NET to create or maintain tools and utilities
