Come and fly out for Nine fully staffed hours of NCT (Northern California Tracon). Located in Mather about 10 miles east of downtown Sacramento, NCT controls airspace over 19,000 square miles (49,000 km2), and serves Reno International Airport, Sacramento International Airport, San Jose International Airport, Oakland International Airport, and San Francisco International Airport, plus 19 other smaller airports with airport traffic control towers. San Francisco International Airport (SFO) being the busiest of those airports, is the largest airport in the San Francisco Bay Area and the second-busiest in California, after Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). In 2017, it was the seventh-busiest airport in the United States and the 24th-busiest in the world by passenger count. NCT is the 3rd busiest TRACON in the US. NCT is split into 6 Areas based on airports:
Area A: SJC
Area B: SFO arrivals
Area C: OAK arrivals
Area D: SFO and OAK departures
Area E California: SMF
Area E Nevada: Reno
