Rookie Need's Help?

Hey there guys, I'm a new controller but have almost 10+ years of aviation and air traffic control knowledge and want to be able to actually move some of these big tin cans around! lol... I passed my basic controller exam with an 88% and was wondering if anyone could tell me how long it takes for VATUSA to allow you too take your next exam? thanks in advance for all the help!-Bill

Not long, though it has nothing to do with VATUSA at this point. You'd have had to follow the directions provided by your ARTCC, but since you've already put in for a transfer, you'll have to wait until your transfer gets accepted and then follow the directions provided by your new ARTCC.

I wanted to work Chicago, to begin with but I realized late last night/early AM that it said I was a MEM Controller that why I put in for the transfer. I guess I'll have to wait for now! Thanks for all the help!
