[size=]PRESS RELEASE: Virtual United Airlines Upgrades ACARS and Fleet[/size]Virtual United Airlines just released a HUGE enhancement to its ACARS called vUACARS. This updated ACARS provides detailed statistics such as position reporting, landing speeds, and fuel use plus lots of other great features like In ACARS scheduling, chat, and charts.
We are currently in the process of adding retro aircraft to our fleet with amazing freeware options and of course, payware support.
VUAL is run by a group of veteran VATSIM pilots, who believe that flight simulation is a hobby; therefore, we do not have check rides. The whole purpose is to have fun! We are an established VATSIM ATO, and our roster is filled with instructors who can help beginners and flight sim veterans learn more about flying.
Pilots of other VAs can transfer up to 125 hours and can start flying the heavy metal immediately. New pilots can get to big aircraft in no time at all with our CAT rating system.
With over 9,000 flights, our real-world United and Star Alliance and partner airlines (with names such as Air Canada, Air China, ANA, Air New Zealand, LOT, Lufthansa, SAS, Singapore, South African, Swiss, TAM, TAP Air Portugal, USAir) schedule provides incredible variety and flexibility for our pilots. Flight reports can filed using any of our five different PIREP systems. We have an active forum and TeamSpeak lounge for our pilots and staff to discuss their latest flights and get to know each other better.
