VATSIM North America will soon be launching its own Authorized Training Organization and is looking for dedicated members to fulfil the duties of Flight Instructor.
The duties of the Flight Instructor will be:
- Provide flight training to students from the VATNA Region;
- Ensure students have met requirements for P-Rating and recommend for examination;
- Maintain training files of assigned students and ensure all information is correct;
- Help develop and keep training material up-to-date;
- The Flight Instructor will be the main liaison between the CFI and the student;
Applicants shall:
- Be an active VATSIM member;
- Possess a P2 rating or greater;
- Be ready to dedicate at least 5 hours per week to the ATO;
- Fluently speak English, Spanish or French. (bilingualism would be an asset);
- Able to act without bias for all duties assigned, and;
- Be able to maintain professional when representing the Authorized Training Organization.
