TRAINING ACADEMY PROJECT MANAGER
VATUSA
VATUSA is currently seeking a Training Academy Project Manager who will provide compelling and effective project management in support of the VATUSA Air Traffic Control Training Academy.
Key Accountabilities:
* Reports to the Division Training Director
* Develops and baselines set of requirements
* Effectively manages requirements changes
* Develops, deploys, manages and tracks/reports progress to effective project management plan
* Works with Division and ARTCC senior staff to effectively communicate project progress and ensure acceptance / buy-in from all ARTCCs
Core Requirements:
* Demonstrated project management skills with (highly) effective results
* Active member of the network in good standing for at least 12 months
* Have attained at least a C1 rating
* Considerable experience and success in a training role, ideally as an ARTCC Training Administrator
* Able to effectively lead in a team environment
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Currently serving (preferred), or previously served, as an Instructor within VATUSA
* No significant disciplinary record or history of unprofessional behavior
Desired Skills and Capabilities:
* Demonstrated experience with the development and deployment of training programs
* Demonstrated possession and utilization of a high degree of energy, commitment and dedication
* Demonstrated qualities of understanding, patience, maturity
* Currently hold a rating of Instructor (I1) or higher
To be effective, the VATUSA Training Academy Project Manager must devote a considerable amount of time (expected to be at least 6 hours per week, more preferred) to the position; candidates must commit to devoting the time required.
