ZOA is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Facility Engineer.
Job Description
- Reports directly to the Air Traffic Manager or his designee.
- Adviser to the Air Traffic Manager on technical flight simulation data.
- Shall create and maintain up-to-date video maps, position files, and command aliases.
- Shall assist in creating SOP's and LOA's.
- Shall advise the ARTCC on monthly navigation data changes.
- Position shall hold a non-voting seat inside the Facility Advisory Board. A Single Vote may be issued on a case by case
basis per individual topic by the Air Traffic Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
-Must hold an S3 Rating or Higher.
-Candidate must be in good standing with ZOA ARTCC/ Current Home ARTCC, and VATSIM/VATUSA.
-Ability to lead
-Ability to create and/or modify VRC sector files, vSTARS and vERAM files, and vATIS files
-Must have knowledge of obtaining resource materials to produce Sector, POF and Alias files.
-Energy and commitment to the facility and position.
Desired Qualifications:
-Ability to create Tower Trainer/ ACSIM files for training purposes
-Creating Euroscope files for training purposes.
-Basic HTML knowledge.
-Experience as an ARTCC Staff Member.
