Location: Denver ARTCC and all ATC facilities within its area of control.

Denver is looking for a motivated individual that possess a high degree of energy and commitment to serve as the Event’s Coordinator.
Job Requirements:
-Supports the Denver ARTCC’s mission of Creating a Positive Environment to Learn, Control, and Fly.
-Serves as a Leader to coach and motivate controllers while upholding a culture that builds exceptional internal and external pilot experiences.
-Supports and participates in initiatives that give back to the VATSIM community.
-Works in collaboration with Virtual Airlines and other VATUSA ARTCC’s to leverage synergy opportunities across the United States.
-Coordinates with neighboring ARTCCs to arrange support for ZDV-hosted events, and arranges ZDV support for neighboring events.
-Develops and distributes marketing material (graphics, news posts, forum posts, etc) to promote events and the ARTCC.
-Supports the recruitment, retention and development of a diverse range of talented people.
-Holds self and others accountable to high performance standards while providing pilots with memorable experiences.
-Understands and drives appropriate metrics to assess controller performance within the Event’s environment.
-Ability to listen to feedback and take constructive action.
-Maintains an online presence on the VATSIM server and ZDV TeamSpeak.
-Attends periodic meetings to report on ARTCC activities.
Application Requirements:
-Must have at least an S3 rating. C1 controllers preferred.
-Must abide by the minimum required hours as dictated in the ZDV SOP; 1 controlling hour a month and 2-4 hours
fulfilling EC duties every week.
-Must be an active member of the network in good standing.
-Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
-Must be able to work in a team environment.
-Must be available for regular correspondence (via the primary means of e-mail), as well as routinely checking VATUSA forums and other outlets for official notices.
-Must have good/great knowledge of graphic design programs. (Photoshop, Gimp, paint.net.. etc.)
