Tried posting in the support forums on VATSIM.NET but it won't let me make a new topic.

The client crashes when I deselect my RX button and then select it again sometime after.

The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

I've had the same problems and to make it even worse I've also had AFV corrupt it's own files. so far i completely wiped my AFV folder and redownloaded

I didn't get luck in the forums on VATSIM either, but I've had similar issues except when launching the application. I had to personally message a member of the AFV Team and they told me I had to disable my "McAfee Anti-Virus" (silly me for getting a new laptop with McAfee)... this may be affecting some of the internals of the program.

If you haven't tried already to reinstall AFV from scratch that is always the first step of debugging. Then, make sure my silly mistake from above is looked at (uninstall MAV). If all of those are scratched off and the issue is still occuring I'd go and e-mail (or find on Discord) a member of the AFV team. I think more documentation needs to come out for debugging the program, or just fix some of the common issues (but I am not one to say).
