vZDC is seeking an applicant for the position of Facilities Engineer
Position Description
Reports to ZDC Deputy Air Traffic Manager
Develops, maintains and manages the ARTCCs facilities infrastructure, including sector files, alias files, position files, VRC/vSTARS/vERAM files, vATIS, TowerTrainer, and Audio for VATSIM database etc.
Maintain a high online presence
Other duties as assigned
Functions as an Administrator and attends quarterly meetings
Requirements
S2 rating or higher
Must be an active member on the network in good standing with a clean history
Capable of working well in team-oriented environment
Familiar with sector file design methodologies and utilities
Familiar with tools such as VRC, vSTARS, vERAM, alias files, etc.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Skills
S3 rating or Higher
Demonstrated experience developing and/or maintaining facilities/sector files
Familiar with TowerTrainer
