Please join me in welcoming Shane Friedman as the new Miami ARTCC Air Traffic Manager. Shane has been the ZMA DATM for well over a year now, and has a clear plan and vision for ZMA! I look forward to working closely with him over the coming months to put that plan into action!
With that being said, It would be wrong of me not to mention the outgoing ATM, Fady Botros. Fady has served as the ZMA ATM since early 2018. ZMA has come a long way under his leadership, and Shane is going to have some big shoes to fill! Fady, all the best with your future endeavors and thank you for your leadership within ZMA and VATUSA.
