Cleveland ARTCC (ZOB) – Deputy Air Traffic Manager (DATM) VacancyThe Cleveland ARTCC is currently seeking qualified and motivated applicants for the position of
Deputy Air Traffic Manager (DATM). The DATM works closely with the Air Traffic Manager to provide leadership, direction, and management of day-to-day ARTCC operations.
Responsibilities• Maintain an active presence on Discord, email, and the VATSIM network
• Assist in leading ARTCC operations as a senior staff member
• Attend staff meetings as required by the ATM
• Serve as Acting ATM when requested or in the absence of the ATM
• Proactively manage and maintain the ARTCC roster
• Support the development and success of ARTCC members
• Assist the Events Coordinator with event planning affecting ZOB airspace
• Assist the Facility Engineer with oversight of facility files
• Support ARTCC projects from planning through implementation
• Other duties as assigned by the ATM
Minimum Requirements• C1 rating or higher
• Active VATSIM member in good standing
• Must be a current member of ZOB, or willing to transfer upon selection
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
