Is there a way to speed up the process for retaking the test for the basic ATC exam or is the 7 days a requirement?

requirment,

It is recommended you review all the material available for the open book exam,  and hopfuly you will pass it next week,

Once the exam is passed you will be well on your way to becoming a Controller
